We have been open 7 days a week as Brisbane’s emergency dentist for 25 years, and the practice has been open 5-6 days a week since 1957.
We understand dental emergencies are particularly distressing and we will do our best to help.
If you’re looking for an emergency dentist, we are here for you weeknights till late and both Saturdays and Sundays.
Please note, we are usually heavily booked, so please call as early as you can to give us time to find you an appointment within a few days where possible.

Are there additional fees?
Its no-ones fault that dental emergencies happen out of hours. Therefore, we have no additional charges EVER! Not for late nights, Saturday or Sunday appointments. Its our same competitive and affordable fees for dental treatment.
We are preferred providers for Medibank, BUPA, HCF, NIB, SMILE and CBHS. We accept DVA patients and welcome bulk billing for children under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule.

In our busy modern lives it can be hard to find the time to pop into your dentist for even a check-up let alone more lengthy procedures so at Chermside Dental Care we provide early morning and late night operating hours. This is a service we are proud to offer as our clients are everything to us.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes, we offer ZipPay, AfterPay and DentiCare.
Every patient has different personal and financial circumstances. We understand this, so when treatment is advised by a dentist you are welcome to discuss the different options available. There are often a couple of ways to achieve a good treatment outcome, varying in cost and time it takes to achieve the result. We don’t pressure anyone into treatments they don’t want or need. It’s your mouth and you have the final say!

Min is a gentle and down to earth dentist, who is dedicated in providing dental care of the highest standard to all patients that see him.
Min graduated from Griffith university in 2011 (BDSc), and has worked both in the public and private sectors for many years, and has also supervised dental students at Griffith University.
Min is proficient in many parts of dentistry ranging from root canals, aesthetic dentist and particularly in surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth removal. Min has also completed the Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (POS) and is an accredited provider of Invisalign.
When not at work, Min likes to play social tennis and relaxes whilst playing on the piano.

Julia is a valued senior associate dentist of the Chermside Dental Care team. Julia is well know for her gentle, thorough and conservative approach to patient’s oral health.
Julia is Australian-Chinese and graduated from the University of Queensland with our principal dentist. Julia understands that visiting the dentist can be daunting and endeavours to make your experience a pleasant one. Her special interests include aesthetic reconstruction, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD), children’s airway and jaw development, and oral surgery including implants. Nonetheless, she enjoys all areas of dentistry and is always happy to help with your concern.
Julia’s ideal weekend will be spent hiking in a national park, trailing behind her towering husband and learning the art of bird-watching.

Tim is one of our long-term, senior dentists at Chermside Dental Care. Known for being both affable and knowledgeable, Tim has been a valued part of our experienced team since 2014.
Tim graduated Dentistry from The University of Queensland in 2010 and offers a broad range of dental treatment including family dental care, cosmetic dentistry, toothache management and surgical tooth removal procedures. He has a loyal following of patients who value his technical excellence, gentle nature and sense of humour.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends as well as playing his weekly game of touch football.

Angela is a gentle, fastidious and well respected member of the Chermside Dental Care team. Angela graduated dentistry from the University of Queensland in 2011. Angela has spent many years working in Roma, Central QLD and has gained significant experience in many areas of dentistry.
Angela has a keen interest in many parts of dentistry including root canals, wisdom teeth and full mouth rehabilitation. Angela is a graduate of both the Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (POS) and the mini-residency in Excellence in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (EODO). Angela keeps up to date with the latest Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses.
Outside of work, Angela enjoys watersports, skiing and badminton. She is also an excellent pianist and cook.

Bridget completed a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Masters of Dentistry, graduating with Distinction and awards for academic excellence. She has recently returned to Brisbane after a few years living in Darwin, where she worked in private practice and was an involved member of the dental community as the Australian Dental Association NT Branch Treasurer.
Bridget prides herself on providing gentle, good quality and ethical dentistry. Bridget enjoys all aspect of general dentistry and is especially good with creating a positive dental experience for children and anxious patients. Bridget is an Invisalign provider and enjoys working with patients to achieve optimal dental health.
Bridget’s commitment to her academic pursuits didn’t stop in university. She has published a paper on Oral Cancer with the Australian Dental Journal in 2022, in addition to co-authoring other papers. In addition to this she continues to further her knowledge and skills through study and professional development courses. This ensures she is always up to date with the latest materials and techniques, enabling her to provide the best possible service to her patients. This approach aligns with the philosophy at Chermside Dental Care of providing cutting edge technology and superior care to patients.
Bridget is a believer in making dental care accessible for all and has visited East Timor with the Timor Children’s Foundation to provide dental care to the community in Dili and rural villages.
When not in the dental surgery, Bridget is a keen advocate for work life balance. You will often find her running, hiking, cycling, camping or spending time with friends and family. She is always looking for her next running event!

Stephanie is a valued dentist within our team who is known for her great bedside manner, easy-going personality and commitment to further learning.
Stephanie has considerable experience working with children and enjoys paediatric dentistry.
Stephanie has completed a post graduate certificate in dental sleep medicine. She has a keen interest in a dentist’s role within a multidisciplinary team to manage sleep apnoea and improve a patient’s sleep quality.
Outside of dentistry, Stephanie loves being active, listening to podcasts and catching up with friends and family.

Dr. Shen is known for her gentle approach, taking a calm and caring stance toward each patient. Her friendly and approachable demeanor ensures that people feel at ease discussing their concerns with her. Dr. Shen’s passion for dentistry drives her to provide excellent quality care to all her patients. She continuously enhances her knowledge by attending continuing professional development courses. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shen enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
